In 2007, Mattel was granted the rights to produce

action figures of all of DC Comics characters.

Thus...DC Universe Classics was born!

The DC Universe Classics was an action figure toy-line,

a sub-line of the DC Universe toy brand

manufactured by Mattel.

They were 6 Inch Scale figures based on the

fictional characters owned by DC Comics.

The entire line was sculpted by

the Four Horseman Studios,

and was first available for sale in 2008.

The "DC Universe Classics" line ceased to be sold

at retail in 2012 with Wave 20.

The DC Universe Classics Series then became an

online-and-convention exclusive line.

It was announced in late 2014 that the line would end

with a final series of six figures

celebrating the history of the line!

The DC Universe Classics is an exclusive

6 Inch figure collection

based on the art and design of the legendary characters

as they appear in the DC Comics, in the TV Series

and in the blockbuster movies!

The Mattel DC Universe Classics concept employed

by the Four Horseman Studios

is an exact process wherein each action figure

in the DC Universe Classics Series comes with exceptional detail to each figure rendering

them as exact as possible to the character

in the books, onscreen in TV or the movies!

The Golden Pharaoh first appeared in

Adventure Comics in 1941.

Golden Pharaoh, aka Ashley Halberstam,

a British archeologist, who has special abilities:

"Power of the Pyramids" generates energy blasts through mystical pyramid staff, glider wings enable flight.

Ashley Halberstam was at a dig in Giza, Egypt

when he was engulfed by a bolt emanating from a laboratory on New Genesis.

The bolt transformed Halberstam and conferred upon him the "Power of the Pyramids",

as channeled through his magical pyramid staff.

Virtuous and heroic by nature, Halberstam fought alongside Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman

against the evil machinations of Darkseid

and the Legions of Apokolips,

eternal enemies of New Genesis!

This item is MINT IN THE PACKAGE!

The figure is in the original blister card packaging,

and has never been removed from the package.

The package does have very little shelf wear from being in

storage since 2010 and the pictures in this listing

is the actual packaging that you are considering buying.
