This is a set of YAMAHA G50 + Roland GK-2A.

The G50 is a system that converts guitar and bass performances into MIDI data, and is connected to the G50 converter with a dedicated cable.

The Roland GK-2A is a MIDI guitar pickup.

By connecting the GK-2A to the G50 with a dedicated cable, the GK-2A can convert guitar string information into MIDI data.

MIDI connection between G50 and your favorite MIDI instrument or multi-instrument.

The guitar's playing technique is converted to MIDI, allowing you to play your synthesizer.

Detection speed is dramatically improved and pitch stability is enhanced. Even advanced technique playing such as chalking, strokes, and vibrato are faithfully reproduced without sound interruption. This is a practical tool that allows you to naturally express the nuances of playing techniques and sounds unique to guitar/bass.

Split playing is also OK.

The six strings can be split into two to play different tones. The bass strings can be used for guitar or bass tones, the treble strings for piano tones, and so on. Also, different tones can be played at any picking position. Distortion guitars and chopper basses can be played near the head, while natural tones can be played near the bridge.

The GK-2A detects the playing information of each string and sends it to the G50, which converts the playing information into MIDI quickly inside the G50.

A stay is attached to attach the Roland GK-2A to the guitar.
