Subject: Antique print, titled: ''Communio generalis. Sodalitas B. Virginis.'' - Two emblems on one sheet: ''General communion. Membership of the Blessed Mother''. The first emblem shows Orpheus playing his lyre near the entrance of Hell (mouth of a monster) with Eurydice and Cerberus standing by. The second emblem shows a band of stars (the Milky Way?) above a landscape in a night sky.
Condition: Very good, given age. The margin edges a little browned and with some soiling. A crease in the top margin, and soft creasing in the lower margin. Left margin uneven and with some creases, from binding. Images clean. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
