Artists and Engravers: Made by 'David Deuchar' after 'Cornelis Bega'. David Deuchar (1743-1808) worked as an engraver and etcher in Edinburgh. Cornelis Pietersz. Bega (1620-1664) was a Dutch genre painter, draughtsman and engraver from Haarlem. He was the son of Pieter J. Begeyn and he was a pupil of Adriaen van Ostade. He travelled to Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
