DESCRIPTION

The first edition, first impression of this work, published in the same year as the release of the motion picture.

A beautifully illustrated novelisation of the beloved film, following sixteen year old Sarah as she embarks on a quest through a fantastical maze to rescue her infant brother, Toby, who has been taken by the Goblin King.

Illustrated throughout in full colour by Bruce McNally, who worked on Jim Henson projects a number of times, including for the Muppet Show, The Jim Henson Hour, and Sesame Street.

Adapted by Louise Gikow, who also collaborated with Henson a number of time, including for Muppet Babies, Fraggle Rock and The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss.

In the publisher's original pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, fine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
