SIZING

The tag labels this a size Small.  The actual measurements are as follows:

Chest: 21.5 inches across the back, underarm to underarm (43 inches around. This is somewhat flexible because of the open front)
Shoulders: 16.5 inches across, seam to seam
Sleeves: 23 inches from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve
Waist: 18.5 inches across (37 inches around. This is somewhat flexible since it is a robe.  I took the measurement with a few inches of overlap in the front)
Length: 56.5 inches from the shoulder to the hem

Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around.

DESCRIPTION

This is a classy men's lounging robe from the 1980s that was made in the USA by Bill Blass.  The material is a velvety, super soft plush velour that is red.  The material is a blend of 85% triacetate and 15% polyester  The robe has a large quilted satin collar, and there are quilted accents on the top edge of the pockets as well.  The robe has long sleeves with shiny gold tone button accents at the ends.  The robe has a set of inner ties and an outer snap button to help keep it shut in addition to the belt that can be used to tie it shut.

CONDITION

This robe is in very good vintage condition.  I did notice a really faint, small gray mark near one of the side seams (see last picture) but I don't think it should be too noticeable when the robe is worn.

Clothing Condition:

The large majority of the items in my store are vintage and/or pre-owned.  I will list any major flaws in the item description.  However, most vintage clothing has been around for several decades or more, and it may have some minor snags in the fabric, the occasional loose thread or other minimal signs of wear.  Vintage items may also have raw seams that have not been serged.  By purchasing, you are accepting that these items are used and may not be 100% perfect. However, if you feel I have overlooked a major flaw, please let me know!

I personally have a SMOKE FREE AND PET FREE HOME.
