QUALITY VINTAGE PIAUTE BASKET. This beautiful basket is 11" long, 9" wide and 2.5" tall. It is circa 1920s, in near mint condition with only 3 or 4 missing stitches, is tightly and evenly woven, and even has a few rare red dyed willow stitches at the rim areas. There is a lot of time and talent put into this fine piece and it has survived the intervening years very well. I have owned this fine piece for 17 years, having obtained it from Kevin Cordeiro of Somerset, MA in 2006. Now that I am actively retired, it's time to pass it on to another appreciative collector. (I offer 1-day shipping as a matter of course, and often ship the same day payment is received. I figure once you've paid for an item you own it, and might as well have it as soon as possible.)
