This master piece is a wool pile genuine hand made very fine antique Persian Sarouk Ferahan Carpet with original country of origin tag.

Pristine condition bright colorful flowers and baby blue medallions on a neutral beige base with a RARE yellow border that is an ombré to a Beau teal beige.

It came from the estate of one of the most avid mid century collector of fine Persian rugs, an American who traveled there to pick each piece. It has hanging loops for wall hanging and even the original weight (see pic) no bare spots or worn anywhere.

Does not look like it was ever walked on only on display on a giant wall - the top part of the rug’s fringe is laced thru to prevent the fringe from dismantling while hanging and the lower border has fringe that is much longer - this is rare in rugs.

You can see why Persian rugs are the most sought after in the world - made during a time when the people were not oppressed and shows what can happen when you allow people to flourish.
