Description
*Please note*
I am not a jeweller just an lover of jewellery and an avid collector of beautiful shiny things
I always endeavour to describe items honestly and to the best of my ability.
Please see below details for a stunning vintage necklace
which I think dates from the Victorian period
It is made from cubes of rock crystal which tests as clear quarts on my presidium gemtester duo 11
The bolt ring clasp is made of yellow metal
I do not think this is a precious metal
possibly brass or similar.
The beads have been facet cut into large cubes which graduate down in size at the back of the necklace.
the beads are stunning, the beads are chunky and very unusually shaped
they have been interspersed with carnelian beads giving it great contrast.
This sits fairly high up on the neckline
(just under my collar bone)
but could be made longer by adding a legnth of chain at the back if wanted.
This is an amazing necklace and the photos do not do it any justice
the beads catch the light beautifully and glisten when worn
Condition
*Please note*
The items I list are Antique / vintage, they are therefore used and not pristine
so please do not buy with the expectation of absolute perfection,
I will always endeavour to list any faults, ect that I can see
This is in good condition
but please note, it could do with a good clean,
on close inspection with an eye glass, there are some minor nicks and nibbles to the beads
but nil are seriously cracked or chipped
looks great with the naked eye?
Measurements
*Please note*
all sizes and weights are listed as approximate but are measured as accurately as possible
