Dell Inspiron 5000e Complete Laptop Set Up

 

·         This is a used Dell Inspiron 5000e series laptop and all accessories. I purchased this unit new in 2000 and am the original owner. The 5000 "e" was an enhanced version of the standard 5000 in the day. Better resolution, features etc.

·         What you see with this is what is included. There is a lot of extra software included over and above what came with it originally.

·         Original Dell dock Station with extra power supply and Dell OEM Key Board. Pair of Altec Lansing speakers.

·         Netgear WG511T wireless adapter. Xircon ethernet adapter. Intel card bus Ethernet adapter. Microtech card reader. Extra CD rom Drive. Has a DVD installed now.

·         All original documentation and paper work from purchase. All original Discs and 3.5 floppies that came with it when new.

·         I upgraded the memory and Processor at one point.

·         The unit originally came with Windows ME. All original discs are included.

·         Also included are Windows XP & W 2000 OS discs with Key codes.

·         Office 2000 pro and XP pro discs included with key codes.

·         Lots of extra software. Norton, Nero, and assorted burning CD software. (some are copies) Too much to list.

·         Original box it came in from Dell.

·         Condition is excellent since it lived its life mostly as a desk top. Some small (3) hairline cracks in the case which I have photographed. Very minor and it could be just from old plastic drying out.

·         There is NO operating system installed at this point and the drive is wiped clean. I booted it up with a bootable Linux disc and all functions seem to operate properly.

·         The battery, I’m sure has seen better days. I did not fully charge and test it.

·         This is a great set up for someone who is a collector. I have to imagine most of this stuff has been tossed and scrapped by now. I hope someone is interested before I end up having to do the same!
