Side One features Reich's 3-part "Different Trains" performed by Kronos Quartet with taped spoken words and train sounds. Side Two features Reich's 3-part "Electric Counterpoint" with guitarist Pat Metheny improvising over a tape of layered guitars and basses. Surprising and interesting material.
