For sale is a rare DATED penmanship/calligraphy folk art ink drawing of one’s signature with bird/dove motif decoration. The name signed is “Mrs D. Shoemaker”. You can also find the year of 1892 and the location of “Elmhurst, PA”. The art work is well done with a lot attention to details. It is framed under glass with a narrow gilt wooden frame

The frame measures approximately 12” by 9”. Great condition. There are a few stained spots here and there but the main image remain Clean and crisp. the frame is in good structural condition. Age appropriate surface wears and imperfections are to be expected. Please check all photos for detailed condition.

Overall, it is a great 19th century DATED folk art piece in well preserved condition. Would be a nice display item for an antique primitive/early Americana/folk art collector’s home.
