The Yanks finished 97-65 for 1st in AL East. Lost ALDS to Tigers. Derek Jeter hit .34-14-97 with 214 hits & 34 SB's. Alex Rodriguez hit .290-35-121. Mariano Rivera saved 34 games with a 1.80 ERA.
