These six covers mark and celebrate the 75^th anniversary of the Royal Air Force. Each cover is a First Day cover for 1 April 1993 with a postage stamp from Ascension Island (three covers), Bahamas, British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT) or Falkland Islands. The covers were each carried on a special flight the details of which are given on the front of their respective envelope. Also the squadron involved in the special flight has applied it’s own handstamp on the front of the envelope, viz: cover no.10 – 206 Sqdn; cover no.14 – 6 Sqdn; cover no.15 – 101 Sqdn; cover no.20 – 33 Sqdn; cover no.23 – 115 Sqdn; cover no.25 – 5 Sqdn.
