Nice porcelain ashtray music book with music notes, pink, orange, yellow and blue flowers, gold butterflies and music notes, "non tant," applied fiddle, violin or guitar. The instrument is darker near the string area in a small area and a little rough, looks like there was a bow, pick or similar, this is missing. The instrument is more like a violin or fiddle but wihotut the bow looks like a guitar as well. No chips or cracks. Some color/enamel fade/loss in areas. A few normal porcelain marks. A few air bubble marks. Some wear on the bottom rim. All shown in pictures. Approx 5-3/4" X 4-1/2", approx 1" in height to rim, approx 1-1/2" in height to side where book is flipped up, approx 3-1/2" X 2-3/4" across bottom rim, approx 1/2" depth, instrument is approx 3-1/4" long. A nice vintage ashtray. Marked and numbered on back. Sold as is.
