A  large, silver ring by Claes E Giertta, Stockholm, Sweden designed in 1974.

Claes Giertta was a Swedish silversmith, sculptor and designer who was born in 1926.

The ring is in very good condition, commensurate with its age.  There are marks on the central silver decoration but these are so uniform I think that they form part of the design.  Please see photographs.

The ring is fully hallmarked GIE for Claes Giertta, the town mark for Stockholm, cat paw, S for silver and Z9 for 1974
