Illustrated with nine maps and thirteen plates, twelve of which are in colour, many of which illustrated officer uniforms throughout the years. Collated and complete.

Containing a previous owner's ink signature to the title page, dated 1890. 


CONDITION

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, sound, with some bumping to the extremities, and darkening to the spine. Shelf wear to the boards, and a small amount of splitting to the cloth on the front joint. Containing a previous owner's ink signature to the title page, dated 1890. Internally, hinges are starting. Contents page is lifting a the tail. Maps opposite pages 58 and 208 are detached but present. A few spots and handling marks to the pages, which are otherwise bright and clean.
