Description: This attractive original old antique print / plate originates from: 'Moeurs, Usages et Costumes au Moyen Age et a l'Epoque de la Renaissance.' (Customs, habits and costumes of the Middle Ages and Renaissance.), by Paul Lacroix, published in Paris, France, 4th. ed. 1874. First ed. from 1868.
Artists and Engravers: Paul Lacroix (1806-1884), French author and journalist. He is best known under his pseudonym of P.L. Jacob, bibliophile, or Bibliophile Jacob. The lithographs are by F. Kellerhoven.

Subject: Plate: 'Reglement de Comptes.' (The last statement.) After a miniature from the Livre des Comptes. This plate shows the brotherhood of the Charite-Dieu et Notre Dame de Recouvrance de Rouen in 1466.
Condition: Fine. General age related toning and occasional light staining from handling as visible on image.
