Henry Mancini ‎– The Great Race (Music From The Film Score) Soundtrack LP Vinyl Record (1965)

Good US import gatefold 1st issue.

The  (1965, dir. Blake Edwards) movie starred Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, Natalie Wood and Peter Falk.

Condition

Vinyl: G-VG. Excellent on visual inspection. Very clean with no obvious signs of scuffs or hairlines on either side. Just one or two tiny surface marks. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is great throughout. Some low surface noise throughout, notably during quieter cues and at run-ins to each side but bombastic loud cues help mask this. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A good listening experience to a classic Mancini soundtrack.

Outer Sleeve (Cover): F-G. Colours clear and unfaded. Thick stock card sleeve. Superb gatefold edition. Corners very badly scuffed and worn. Front is clean with vertical bubble near right corner, a few dents and creasing in from spine. Discolouration and wear on spine, top edge badly split on both gates. Centre split on bottom edge of rear gate. Aperture clean and undamaged but front side edge worn and split. Rear outer gate glossy and clean with just a few marks and creasing at bottom. Unlaminated inner gate generally clean with a few marks along bottom spread and light damage along top edge spread. Overall very good.

Inner Sleeve: G. Original Picture Sleeve. White paper with colour thumbnails of contemporary RCA Victor albums. Centre splits on all edges and a few tears on/near aperture. Some creasing and folds.
