Early 20th century doll, most likely German with hand painted features on pressed cardboard head in ethnic costume, perhaps Dutch or Swiss.  Some damage with old staple repair to head seam and paint/surface loss.  Some wear, material loss on cloth hands/legs, lacking one of the shoe embellishments.  Overall the dress, apron and undergarments materials are in good condition.  Ethnic hat shows considerable aging with holes.  Soft stuffed linen arms and legs with body of webbing stuffed with curled wood chips.  Measures 19 inches tall.
