I purchased this guitar online in 2019 and purchased all the parts separately for it. The original pancake pickup was broken so I had my luthier replace it with a Gibson Mini-Humbucker, but used the original pancake pickup cover. He also upgraded the electronics and installed a new tailpiece. He also checked out the electronics and everything works perfect. I also obtained a limited edition Kay soft shell case built in the 60’s. There is no name on the headstock and it probably was a True Tone, which is a sub brand from Kay. My luthier did a full set up and installed a new set of strings. The original brass frets have plenty of life left and there is minimal wear. The original Mahagony body has a very attractive see thru red finish that is in good condition but shows signs of wear in some areas. There are minor chips in the nut that do not effect anything. The original tuners are in good shape. The original wooden kay bridge doesn’t have its 2 metal washers but they are included in the case. 

Electronics all check out. 

The case is original 1960’s soft-shell. All hardware is working and is in good condition. Pocket lid is missing inside case.
