Seeds only ( not plants)

Grape seeds will require cold stratification.

Either a good cold uk winter - so you must keep seeds outside, or if you miss this window , as seeds are sold all year round you will need to do by storage in a fridge or freezer - for at least three months.

It is important that you stratify for 3-4 months!

Afterwards, move to warm moist condition, germination will begin in as little as a week or as long as two months or so, depending on the genetic background of the seeds & chance.

I would say two to three weeks or so seems to be the most common.

Seeds that fail to germinate can often be returned to stratification, and after a second go round, more seeds will typically germinate.

The seeds were from our grapes that we grew this summer in our London garden.

We have started cutting the bunches in October to make our wine and will have plenty of seeds left over for anyone who would like to buy as it’s a shame to throw them away.

Photos are mine

We have a few bunches that we left to get seeds and there are plenty and we don’t need all of them

So if anyone would like to grow their own grapes from seed and who has patience I will be happy to sell some as too many for us. So hope to share.

I also have many other grape varieties and will list others too, I have merlot, Sauvignon, Pinot noir, trollinger and many more. Please see other listings.

I will also list UnRooted cuttings that are available from December/January if you would like to buy a stem and grow that way instead when we prune this vine.

Success in germinating seeds successfully is buyers responsibility and I can not be held responsible as numerous factors need to be taken into consideration.
