The DOD LOOKING GLASS is an overdrive pedal that assists you in creating your ideal sound with powerful yet simple controls. It allows you to create a very wide range of tones, from adjusting tone, emphasizing hardness, light overdrive, exploring unknown sounds, to the angular psychedelic sound of pushing a vintage amp. Created in collaboration with boutique pedal maker SHOE Pedal Company, the LOOKING GLASS boasts extremely fast response thanks to the asymmetrical clipping of the newly designed hybrid Class-A discrete FETs, and is sensitive to the intensity of your picking! The SHOE Pedal Company's Christopher B. Christopher Venter of SHOE Pedal Company is known for his unique circuit designs, his eclectic take on classic effects, and his artful compact designs. For unprecedented versatility, a unique input filter interacts with the guitar pickups to reduce excessive guitar britling, and a Bass Cut control in front of the distortion circuit and a Treble control behind the distortion circuit help maintain a high level of clarity. The Bass Cut control is located in front of the distortion circuit and the Treble control is located behind the distortion circuit. It has a surprising amount of output level and gain, and there is an input impedance switch on the board to provide the optimum input impedance for the circuit, whether passive or active guitars are used.
