Alors que ce n'est pas nouveau pour Meinl de proposer des équipements incroyablement innovants, le MPDC1 est quelque chose qu’on ne voit pas souvent ! Véritable cajon numérique, cet instrument de percussion va bien au-delà des cajons équipés de micros Meinl et dispose de quatre déclencheurs en caoutchouc placés de manière ergonomique. Un total de dix sons différents peuvent être tirés du cajon, allant d'instruments de percussion à la batterie en passant par des modèles de cymbales Meinl, tous pouvant être facilement activés à l'aide de la pédale de switch incluse.
