Burt Bacharach – Casino Royale (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) CD (1967)

Very good German remastered 1st CD release of this cult film soundtrack.

It is one of the best soundtracks of its time, far outshining the spoof film to which it relates. This mammoth score predates Bacharach's equally popular – but perhaps less epic – Butch Cassidy film soundtrack by two years.

The James Bond spoof parody featured an ensemble cast including Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress, David Niven, Woody Allen, Joanna Pettet, Orson Welles, Daliah Lavi, Deborah Kerr, William Holden, Charles Boyer, Jean-Paul Belmondo, George Raft and John Huston.

Condition
DISC: EX. Looks superbly clean on visual inspection. Just one tiny short hairline surface scuff near edge. No other obvious defects – and no deep scratches. Stored and handled carefully. Played just pre-listing and plays through fine. Disc clamps firmly in sprockets.
BOOKLET: NM. Colours remain vibrant and unfaded on superb gatefold book. No rips, dents, creases or stains.
JEWEL CASE: VG+. Some very mild scuffs through normal handling but no cracks or splits. Standard original CD case with dark grey inlay tray.
