back in 2009, Gibson, in association with Authentic Hendrix were going to launch a series of beginner guitar packages with Authentic Hendrix on the pickguard, Gibson went a step further via their artist relations guy, Pat Foley, and conjure up a Gibson Strat-like guitar that perhaps JH would be playing had he lived, a really bizarre crazy idea (given the upper management of Gibson at the time, this should come as no surprise)

Anyway, what we have here is the genuine Gibson produced and Authentic Hendrix authorized Jimi Hendrix signature decal, the project was shelved and the decal never used, I obtained it directly from the Custom Shop by luck and by chance
