Prince's "SIGN OF THE TIMES" is a two-disc masterpiece and a masterpiece. After the dissolution of REVOLUTION, which had worked together until the previous work "PARADE", Prince entered the studio alone and created "SIGN OF THE TIMES". And the wonder of studio work can be said to be the true value of Prince. Prince, who has changed the trend of sound for each album in a different way from pandering to the times, has finished it as a work full of the taste of the 80's if you listen to it with your current ears.

Also, this period overlapped with the time when Prince was most talented, and he must have been busy not only with music but also with movies and women, but even so, he not only announced the material of the two-disc set, It is also known that there are several times more outtakes and unreleased songs in the shadows. Exactly if it expresses the Prince of this period, it will be exhausted in a word of fulfillment.

In the first place, the two-disc set "DREAM FACTORY" produced with REVOLUTION was discarded when the band disbanded, and the three-disc set "CRYSTAL BALL" was rejected by Warner, resulting in the two-disc set "SIGN OF THE TIMES". There is a history that Prince is formidable.

The tour accompanying “SIGN OF THE TIMES” released in this way was held in 1987, with a total of 34 performances in just two months. Although slow in Prince's terms, this was perhaps the key turning point for Prince. After all, it is a tour with a new line-up after breaking up with her long-time band. The record company requested a large-scale tour including Europe, the US and Japan for promotion, but the tour accompanying this album is only in Europe. Therefore, all remaining sound sources are very rare.

From the SIGN OF THE TIMES tour, this work recorded the final day of Paris 4 consecutive performances on June 17, 1987 with a sound board. The set list is mainly based on the songs from the new album "SIGN OF THE TIMES", and the best songs at this point in time with past hit songs, and it is full of active feeling. The bonus track includes two songs from the Netherlands performance on June 22 from the same tour. It can be said that it is a representative sound source of the SIGN OF THE TIMES tour, which was only held for a short time in Europe. Permanently preserved press board with beautiful picture disc specifications.
