Pink Floyd was one of the first British psychedelia groups,

unconstrained by conventional pop formats, they were innovators of

progressive rock. 

After the release of the album ‘Atom Heart Mother’ they went on an extensive supporting tour and when they returned they delved even further into experimentation. 

This seed is already planted here with the almost 25 minute rendition of Atom Heart Mother that fills the B side of this record.
