Listing for one button. Handmade ceramic buttons were made from high fired stoneware clay and so very durable. Each heart shaped button is hand formed by me,  from red clay. These clay buttons for sewing were smoked (when cooled and the temperature was about 800 degrees, they were taken out of the furnace and immersed in oak sawdust), because of this they got a black metallic color. The diameter is about 30-35 mm. The rustic buttons are the perfect finishing touch for a special handknit scarf, sweater, or other handcrafted item. Also these  black heart buttons are great for button jewelry.
