The 2009 Early Television Memories 44¢ Complete Set of 20 Stamps in mint condition, Scott #4414.  The Early TV Memories stamp sheet commemorates some of the most popular shows on television from the 1940s and 50s. At the time there were only 3 television networks- NBC, ABC and CBS. Initially television sets were expensive and most households only owned one. Over a period of about 20 years, from 1950 to 1970 the number of U.S. households with a television set rocketed from less than a million to 40+ million. Some of the most popular shows featured on this sheet were "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", "The Twilight Zone" and "I Love Lucy." Television also helped people to become more informed about social and political issues, such as Martin Luther King's March on Washington and the Vietnam War.

The stamps are in excellent condition and show no bends, folds, tears, or imperfections.  See the picture for actual stamps you will receive.
