This is an original press photo. Gogolak, Charlie (Football - Princeton). Princeton, New Jersey. Charlie Gogolak, the Princeton University placekicker, prepares to meet the football sideways during an early season workout. The Hungarian-born Gogolak learned to play soccer before he played football, and carried the soccer-style kick onto the gridiron. Against Cornell in Ithaca Saturday he booted two field goals, one 54 yards for an Ivy league record, and other 44 yards. Princeton won the game, 36-27. Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 10-11-1965.
