From the archives of The Robbins Co of Attleboro, MA, this listing is for a vintage steel stamping die used to make a medal for the Nacogdoches Commandery Knights templar No. 55 in Nacogdoches, Texas. The die is not dated but is probably from their 75th Anniversary in 1985. The die is mounted within a permanent steel collar and it slides up and down about ½”. The collar has a maximum diameter of 3” and the engraved token end is 1 ¼” in diameter. A die like this would have an additional collar placed around the narrow end during minting to maintain the round shape of the medal. The total height is 3”.
