Vintage 1971 Gibson ES-355TD Stereo Electric Guitar w/ Case Lyre Vibrola Mono

Hey now! You are drooling at one of Gibson's finest guitars.

This is a 1971 Gibson ES-355TD Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar.

It weighs 9 lbs 3 oz, 24.75" scale, 1.56" nut width.

Introduced in 1958, it was created to be the fanciest of the Gibson thinline semi-hollow guitars.

The semi-hollow maple body/mahogany neck gives you incredible natural resonance, with excellent tone transfer.

Grabbing up all this delicious tone are the original pair of Patent No Sticker humbuckers, creating the quintessential Gibson semi-hollow tone.

The cleans are very articulate and full.

You can really open them up with amazing mids when pushed.

The bridge brings the high end mid crunch and the neck has the seemingly infinite thick sustain, everything you'd expect and more.

Add to that the Varitone circuit, and you have an entire world of gorgeous tones just a knob away.

The stereo jack allows you to run each pickup into its own amplifier through a Y cable (not included).

The Lyre Vibrola provides smooth pitch effects, as perfect as you remember.

This guitar has seen some incredible modifications in it's lifetime. A Mono output was added to the side of this beauty, as well as a mini toggle switch that puts the pickups out of phase.

Super cool, and makes this guitar incredibly desirable.

Just professionally setup, the neck is straight and the frets are clean.

This is a true vintage players guitar- there is a ton of vintage mojo. Plenty of play wear, marks/scratches, dings/dents, finish checking, finish clouding, patina, pitting/oxidation.
