DESCRIPTION 

This is a stunning vintage formal dress from the 90s made in the USA by Niki Livas.  The outer layer of the dress is made out of a semi-sheer material that is a nylon blend, and it has a metallic copper sheen to it.  The dress is fully lined in a stretchy brown polyester, and both the outer layer and the lining have a walking slit on both side seams.  The dress is sleeveless with a high collar, and there are attached sashes of material that hang down from the collar in both the front and the back.  The collar closes with a metal hook and eye closure at the shoulder, and there are metal snaps that help the sashes lay properly.  The dress does not have any other closures. 

SIZING 

The tag labels this a size 6, but vintage sizes tend to run smaller than modern sizes.  I believe this dress is closer to a modern size 2/4 (XS/Small).  The actual measurements are as follows:

Bust: 15-16.5" across, underarm to underarm (30-33" around)
Natural Waist:  14-15.5" across (28-31" around)
Hips: 18-19.5" across (36-39" around)
Length: 51" down the center of the back

Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around.  

CONDITION

The dress is in excellent vintage condition.

Shipping:

I go to the post office every week day, Monday - Friday.  I typically ship items out one business day after I've received payment, so if I receive payment on Friday, your item will go in the mail Monday (although if I receive payment early enough, I might get it in the mail the same day). If you need an item to be shipped right away, just let me know and I will do my best to get it out to you as soon as possible! 

PLEASE NOTE: I will ship your item to the address listed on the payment, so please make sure that your address is up-to-date!  

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I am happy to ship internationally, but please note that as the buyer, you are responsible for any taxes or duties your customs office might charge on packages coming from the USA.  

Clothing Condition:

The large majority of the items in my store are vintage and/or pre-owned.  I will list any major flaws in the item description.  However, most vintage clothing has been around for several decades or more, and it may have some minor snags in the fabric, the occasional loose thread or other minimal signs of wear.  Vintage items may also have raw seams that have not been serged.  By purchasing, you are accepting that these items are used and may not be 100% perfect. However, if you feel I have overlooked a major flaw, please let me know!
