Two sterling overlay fretwork jars one made by Henckel and one by Watson Company.  The George Henckel jar features sterling silver fretwork vanity jar with cover.  This piece does not have its glass insert.  The sterling holder is approximately 1 7/8" in diameter on interior base x 2 3/8" diameter at the recessed top rim.  The cover has a few dings from use and displays a three letter monogram.  Overall size including the cover is 2 3/4" tall x 3" in diameter x 2 1/8" in diameter at the base.  Weighs approximately 1.76 troy ounces.

The second jar was made by Watson Company of Massachusetts.  This jar does not have the original cover.  It fits, but I do not believe the cover is correct.  The fretwork on this piece is intact and in very good condition.  The interior of the jar measures approximately 2 3/4" in diameter at the top tapering down to 1 5/8" in diameter x 3 3/4" tall without the cover.  Weighs approximately 3.83 troy ounces.
