VINTAGE (1600s) BRITISH WAR SICKLE KNIFE WITH MAKER'S MARK. This unusual piece of UK battle history is 14" long overall with a 9" blade, weighs 13.5 ounces, and dates back to the 1600s. The original wood handle has a few worm holes as well as a couple of holes someone has drilled, probably for a wrist strap, and a crack. It is missing the end bolster or containment ring, so I put a hose clamp on the end to protect against further splitting until a qualified party can make appropriate repairs. There is a clear maker's mark on the blade. As you see in the photos, it is in very good condition in spite of its age. This is out of a gentleman's collection from Edinburgh, Scotland. As always, I offer  a no-questions-asked 60-day return policy. If you don't like this item for any reason, just send it back within 60 days of receipt for a full refund.
