A little about me................

I have over 20yrs experience and have trained under a master-craftsman with more that 40yrs experience in joinery restoration and refurbishment for quite a number of years now. I approach every piece with the diligence and mindfulness that this item will take pride and place in your home. I am lucky enough to thoroughly enjoy my job and this reflects in my work.

I have decided to move with the times and advertise on ebay. I have a business premises which acts as a workshop / showroom for all my stock. So please feel free to pop in either to view a dresser you are interested in purchasing or to select another from my stock which can be painted in any colour choice you may have. Details of the Dresser..............

This is quite a beautiful piece. This dresser is my favourite of the Ducal Dressers and has a timeless sophistication. 

The Base Unit comprises of 3 cupboards with Shelving in each one for extra storage. There are 3 drawers and one which includes the distinctive Ducal Cutlery insert. The base cupboard doors have been painted inside which i feel gives the piece a smarter appearance. 

The Top unit has 2 illuminated Glass Cupboards with Glass shelving allowing the light to travel through to light up your possessions on display. The glazed cupboards contain the original lighting which is in perfect working order. I have installed two new bulbs. There is a beautiful Floral Balcony and all the shelves have grooves enabling you to display plates with ease. Below there is a beautiful spice shelf again bearing the groove if you needed to display saucers.

The top has been sanded down to reveal the natural grain and treated with oil to enhance the natural grain and to provide a waterproof shield to the wood. The Dresser top has also been waxed to seal the oil in.

I have fully refurbished this is Farrow and Ball off White no 3.  All hinges and handles are removed prior to starting refurbishment. This dresser has been washed, sanded down and treated with primer and undercoat to allow the adhesion of the paint. Then it has been given 3 to 4 coats of Farrow and Ball Paint. All the doors have been painted inside and out to give a more professional finish.

This Dresser comes in two parts for transport.

The whole dresser is then treated with a clear wax to give it more durability against every day knocks and bumps!

Collection is welcomed from NG17 but please be aware that once the item leaves my showroom it is no longer the responsibility of Willow Furnishing Ltd and we are not liable for any damages in transit. Please be aware that you will need to bring adequate materials to ensure safe transport of your dresser and I cannot provide packaging materials.

Please make sure contact is made within 24 hrs of the auction end to organise either collection or delivery otherwise the Dresser sale will be cancelled and relisted.

You are welcome to arrange your own courier but please be aware that if you needed to return the dresser for any reason Willow Furnishing is not liable for the transit costs. Please ensure that you use a driver who is fully insured and who uses adequate packaging.
