After the original oil painting done by Pierre Auguste Cot (1837-1883) who was a French painter of the Academic Classicism school. This particular painting is titled “Springtime” and was made in 1873 and is one of the artist most famous works and is currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This wonderful reproduction is Artist signed and dated E.K. 1925 and was beautifully done. Inside a gilt wood frame. This does have a one imperfection by her foot, but to me, that does not take away from all the beauty this has to offer. Please do zoom in for all the lovely details!
