Britains 9547 Horse Box With White Horse. Complete With Both Stabilisers. NM/B..

A very nice example of a reasonably scarce model in the fantastic Britains Farm range. Dating from 1968 it’s surprising what great condition this is in considering it is all plastic apart from the axle. It has both stabilisers which are very often missing. It has the white horse which is less common than the brown. It is very clean and bright. Also the wheels haven’t perished which often happens with this type of wheel where the rubber tyre reacts and melts to the plastic wheel. The bad points are that the number plate is a little scuffed. There are a couple of small black marks on the ramp and inside. All this is highlighted in the photos. Finally the box is tired. It’s presentable in that it’s nice and square but it has old tape on it. It appears someone has tried to make the box stronger as it hasn’t come apart. The end flaps are a little weak and fragile. It must be said though it is nice to have the box. The inner tray is in reasonably good condition.
