PPARALLEL CARDS has been released by Select Australia as early as 1996. Normally, the PARALLEL CARDS depicts the same players appeared in the Base Card set, but printed in different cardboard or in different finishing with different image, often in foil card form. Most of the times, they will appear as 1 per pack which make the set much rarer than the base card set.

The FIRST PARALLEL CARD SET was released in the Select 1996 AFL Classic Metal card series, with GOLD Version of the players cards in contrast to the SILVER shown in the base set. All PARALLEL CARDS SET are not individually numbered until 2016 Select AFL Certified Card series.

The 2016 Select AFL Certified series introduced INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED Parallel card set. Naming as “CERTIFIED 460”, each parallel cards is individually numbered to 460, finishing in a HOLOFOIL style.

From 2016 to 2020, Individually numbered PARALLEL CARD SET has appeared in every Select AFL Series 2 cards series.

 The ratio of finding PARALLEL CARD is 1: 3 packs in all series. Due to the total production box quantity various, the quantity of PARALLEL CARD SET in each series is different as well.

2016 and 2017 AFL Certified Series—460 numbered sets in the production;

2018 AFL Legacy, 2019 and 2020 AFL Dominance- 350 numbered sets in the production, named as “ HOLOGRAPHIC”

In all above 5 card series, there are 220 Parallel cards in each set with 4 Checklist cards plus 12 players cards (including club logo) for each of the 18 AFL teams.

This listing is the COMBINED PARALLEL CARDS FULL TEAM COLLECTION of the 5 cards series from 2016 to 2020. 12 cards in each year’s team set, you will receive total 60 cards in this purchase.
