FAQ

Q: What is this listing about?

A: Just like the title says, this is to received and authentic Kanto Dex (375 Pokémon) from an actual authentic FireRed or LeafGreen cartridge.

Q: What do you mean by authentic dex?

A: What I mean when I say “authentic” is that these Pokémon are not copies of Pokémon export files or save files found on the internet that get shared and reused by hundreds of people…including those who sale Pokemon on eBay, these are made to order! A new save file is created on an authentic Pokémon game cartridge and Pokémon are caught (using automation and scripting) and then extracted by using cartridge extracting hardware. The whole point of this is to be as authentic as possible.

Q: Will I be able to customize anything?

A: Just like if you were to be playing the game in person, the only thing you can customize is the Original Trainer (OT) name and gender in the beginning of the game only. TID, SID is randomized by the game.

Q: What about Pokémon? Can I have perfect IV/EVs, custom natures, abilities and battle-ready Pokémon? Can they have custom (whatever)?

A: Changing IVs/EVs and Abilities will defeat the main purpose of this listing which is keeping it as authentic as possible. Pokémon will have random IV’s, Natures, Abilities, etc., like how you would encounter them in the wild. Pokémon levels will be at the lowest possible level or at their evolved level (ex. Bulbasaur would be level 5, Ivysaur level 16 and Venusaur level 32. HOWEVER, there is a custom option bundle in which you can change/add a few things.

Q: If I were to choose the custom option, which things can I change or add?

A: You can change the Pokémon’s level, Contest Stats, and add Ribbons. If you have any additional request or if you want to know if you can change something else that I did not mention above, please message me BEFORE buying and I can see what I can do 😊

NOTE: These types of changes that are noted above will make these Pokémon not fully authentic which is the whole point of this listing.

Q: How would I really know these will be “authentic” from an authentic game cartridge? Anybody can download Pokémon export files from the internet and pass them as authentic without having the game…

A: Excellent question and you are correct, anybody can gen/download files easily and pass them as authentic. I provide picture proof of your newly created save file with the OT name you provided with the cartridge playing it all in one picture.

Q: Wait, the complete dex in FRGL is 386 Pokémon, why only 375 Pokémon?

A: This listing only includes the Pokémon that can be caught/bred within FRLG. The list below are the Pokémon that cannot be caught or bred within FRLG:

Mew, Celebi, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, and Jirachi

Q: What about gender differences, forms, etc., are those included?

A: Gender differences and forms are not included. This is due to the amount of time it would take to gather those extra Pokémon and different forms, the cost would increase dramatically

Q: Are all 4 Deoxy Forms included?

A: In Gen 3, only one form of Deoxy can exist within each game. In FireRed, the only obtainable form would be Attack Form Deoxy and in LeafGreen it would be Defense Form.

 

Q: Why is the shiny bundle a lot more than the non-shiny bundle?

A: RNG manipulation is a lot more difficult to do in Gen 3 in order to get a legal shiny Pokemon using your TID and SID. This alone take a lot of time and effort to do hence why the price is a lot more.

Transferring Process:

After purchase, please message me your availability to make the transfer. I will message you back letting you know when I am ready.

Follow the instructions below to proceed with the transfer from your Switch or mobile device:

  - Open Pokémon Home

 - Go down to icon called "MOVE" (For mobile, you need to press the bottom middle button, then choose "OPTIONS" to find "Move")

  - Select "Begin Move"

  - Choose "Begin" at the prompt

  - Choose "Ready" 

  - Choose "Display" to show the Moving Key. Message me with this key. Please note that it will expire after 3 minutes

Once I message you letting you know its transferring, wait 1 minute and then you can double check your HOME
