Vintage French Hunting Lodge wall mounted wooden 5 gun Rifle display rack for restoration

This vintage gun rack came from a french farm house renovation and is in as found condition, it is very dusty so requires a good clean and has loads of worn or missing lacquer that requires attention. Some of the green beige that protects the gun barrels is a bit loose so will require reglueing.

In my opinion it requires completely unscrewing and then the tatty lacquer finish sanding off then waxing properly, it was on my to do list but time isn’t on my side at the moment so it has to go. It would make a fantastic summer project!

I have been told that the bottom two apertures should have drawers in them but these are not present

This item would look superb polished up, I considered turning it into a rack for my snooker cues but never got round to it.

Would look fantastic as a man cave quirky storage rack
