This is a original  World War Two  USN USMC F4U, F6F, SBD, F4F, Pilot's Microphone Telephonic's Type PS 38A. This mike has a 48 inch cord that has some electrical tape on it in places. This microphone would be mounted in the cockpit of many USN & USMC fighters and Bombers.
