TSXCUSB485C is a multi-functional programming cable that provides serial connection and RS485 signal conversion through the USB interface. The power supply of this cable is taken from the USB port and is no longer powered by the TER port of the PLC. Therefore, this cable supports the connection with the TER or AUX port of the PLC or HIM communication. TSXCUSB485C can be used to communicate between Schneider Modicon TSX series PLC or HMI and computer. It can be connected to the computer to communicate with Premium, Micro, Nano, Naza, Twido and other series PLCs directly. After changing a different adapter cable, it can also be connected to the computer to communicate with OTB, XBTN/R/S, TSXSCA62, etc.


TSXCUSB485C programming cable is an upgraded product of TSXPCX3030.

The conversion box of TSXCUSB485C is equipped with a toggle switch to select different working modes. It abandons the way that PLC controls the RS485 transmission and reception. The data transmission and reception conversion adopts automatic flow control, which can be used for multi-point and point-to-point applications. The TER port of Schneider TSX series PLC has a PMC (mode control) signal pin, which is used to determine the working mode of the terminal port. When PMC is high, the TER port always works in Uni-Telway Master (master station) mode, which is required for PLC programming. When PMC is low level, the working mode of TER port is determined by PLC configuration, generally it is slave station mode.
