For sale is a scarce Towle / Contempra House JADE pattern cold meat fork, introduced in 1956.  The piece is 9 inches long, with a 4 3/4 inch sterling handle with green enamel tip and stainless tines.  This is part of a short-lived line designed by noted jeweler Earl Pardon.  The piece is marked [contempra house / STERLING HANDLE] on the handle and “STAINLESS” on the tines. The piece has not been monogrammed.

Condition on the piece is fairly good.  The handle is scratchy and has minor dings, but the enamel is undamaged.  A rare piece of modern American silver!
