For sale is a scarce Towle / Contempra House JADE pattern
cold meat fork, introduced in 1956. The piece
is 9 inches long, with a 4 3/4 inch sterling handle with green enamel tip and
stainless tines. This is part of a
short-lived line designed by noted jeweler Earl Pardon. The piece is marked [contempra house /
STERLING HANDLE] on the handle and “STAINLESS” on the tines. The piece has not
been monogrammed.
Condition on the piece is fairly good. The handle is scratchy and has minor dings,
but the enamel is undamaged. A rare piece
of modern American silver!
