The beautiful wood engravings shows the human hearing organ. The following illustrations are shown in detail:
Vertical cross-section through the organ of hearing - the auricle with its muscles - the auditory ossicles - the bony labyrinth - vertical section through the cochlea - the membranous labyrinth - horizontal section through the left temporal bone - section of the cochlea and organ of Corti.
One sheet printed on both sides!
Sheet size approx. 24.5x15.5cm
The wood engraving has slightly darkened at the outermost edges, but otherwise in very good condition!
The original engraving comes from the Brockhaus-Konversationslexikon 14. edition.
