For sale is a pair of Authentic antique hand forged blacksmith made colonial American 1700s compass dividers in wonderful antique condition. This is a small example (5” long), likely an old time map charting tool for pioneer explorers to carry around in their pocket.

This wrought iron arms have beautiful and elegant form. The hinge has great bold form, amazingly well preserved. Very sharp tips. No chips or bents. It is quite functional even today! It would be a great item to be added to your antique primitive/ early Americana collections.

It measures approximately 5” long. There is No visible repairs and it is in original antique condition. No rust. great blackened patina. Please study the pictures carefully for detailed condition.
