We recently inherited these two (2) burial plots in Clifton, New Jersey but we are not local to the area. They currently sell, from the cemetery association for $3,800 EACH for a total of $7,600.
Under New Jersey law, when burial plots change hands a 15% "perpetual care" fee is paid to the cemetery based on the current market price charged by the cemetery. Thus the fee due upon transfer (subject to change) is currently $1140 (15% of $7,600). THE BUYER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS FEE AND ANY OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE FEES CHARGED BY THE CEMETERY FOR THE TITLE TRANSFER.
The two burial plots are located in the West Ridgelawn Cemetery, King Solomon Memorial Park Section located at Dwas Line and Allwood Roads, Clifton, NJ 07014. They are in the Rebekah Section, Block 4, Plot 3, Graves 2 and 4.
This cemetery is for those of the Jewish faith only!
These plots are located in one of the most densely populated areas of the country. Hopefully, the price paid through this listing will represent a significant savings to the buyer.
