RANCHO RS5000X CROSS-TUNED SHOCK ABSORBERS

The Cross Tuned technology in Rancho’s RS5000X series shock absorbers feature a patented progressive rebound and compression design to soften hard impacts and deliver a smooth, controlled ride at the same time. The stout 2-1/4” shock bodies are filled with more gas-pressurized fluid and feature nitro-carburized hardened piston rods and rebound dampers for longevity. Rancho’s performance suspension systems have been blazing the trails since 1955.

  • Bigger 2-1/4” bodies hold more fluid
  • Innovative rebound dampers reduce piston rod wear
  • Rubber bushings absorb shock for a smooth ride
  • Piston rods are hardened through a nitro-carburizing process
  • Hard bumps and potholes are absorbed with Progressive Engagement Valve design
  • Tuned Compression Control Valve minimizes disc flutter during impact
  • Gas pressurized for an ideal air-to-oil ratio and reduced foaming
