I’ve had two other collectors reach out to me to say they have the same errors on their 1980 p - points to this being a rare planchette error.

This 1980 P Washington Quarter is a rare find for collectors. It has multiple errors on the obverse, reverse, and rim, making it one of a kind. They must’ve replaced the mold after this quarter there are so many errors to the planchette.

The coin has been circulated, but the deep cameo & details are still visible making the condition very fine.

The denomination is 25C and it features George Washington's profile on the obverse.

This unique coin is an error type and was struck in the Philadelphia mint location. It has not been certified, but it is ungraded. The features of this coin are what sets it apart from others of its kind. This is a great addition to any collector's coin collection.
